I can’t think of a better place to skate than around my hometown of East Austin. East Austin is a place where there is always something fresh to do, and we have a great bunch of skateboarders to add to the mix.
Well, maybe not so much this time of year. But in all seriousness though, a lot of great things to do in East Austin, including lots of great restaurants. So for anyone who wants to get out of the city for a bit, we have a number of great spots for you.
Just what I need. I go out of my way to avoid riding out of town. But this year, I’m going to take the time to ride a few different spots around East Austin. I’ll list them here, but as I get them all back up, I’ll edit this page to list them all. I’ll try to come up with more places than I’ve listed.
The reason I mention this is because some of the locations are pretty off the road. For example, I have a couple of places that are easy to find and are not too far from the road…
I’m sure Ive just tried that one, but now I have to go to a different location for the next one to take.
There are a lot of places in East Austin you can ride that don’t have a lot of roads. I know this, because I have to go to a lot of places just to get to my house. Sometimes I forget I even live here, and it makes it harder for me to stay on top of it.
It’s also true that many of my favorite places were designed specifically to be skateboard friendly. That being said, there are a few places that are not too far from the road and can be easily reached, and a few places that are not so easy to skateboard at all. That being said, there are a few more places I’d like to try. For example, I would like to try a spot called “Ride By” not too far from my house.
I know this is an odd one, but I’d like to try that one. I think it’s because I’m a bit of a roller-derby-nerd in my previous life, and I feel like I still have a bit of a connection to the sport. My son is also into skateboarding, and I think it would be great for him to play skateboard at his house when he’s older.
Ride By is at the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 64, so it is very easy to skateboard, but you still have to get around the town. It’s a very peaceful area and there is a park just a short walk away. Although its location is just a few miles up the road, it is really close to the city, so its convenient to the house.
I love skateboarding more than anything. It is an adrenaline rush and I actually like to get down on the ice when it is on. But I also like the fact that I can ride my bike to skateboard in the winter. I have found that there are several bike trails that are just as good for skateboarding as just riding on the street.
