According to their website, they have two locations in the U.S. and have made a lot of national news recently. The company is one of the most recent entrants to the natural hair industry and I don’t think it’s too soon for this young brand.
The only reason that I can think of for the popularity of the brand is because of the very well known Kenyan hairstylist, Kenya Moore. The company’s founder, Kenya Moore is a celebrity in her own right, but the woman behind the company is not. She is actually a real Kenyan lady, not a celebrity. The company claims that it has more than 1 million customers for its products.
I’m not a fan of any of the major brands of hair care products. I do like the brands that are smaller and not as well known as Kenya Moore. The reason I like it is because it gives me some control over what I put into my hair. I don’t have to use a specific brand or type of hair products to keep my hair shiny or soft. The conditioner and conditioner brush are both under $1.00, which is a plus for me.
