Most of us don’t really know what we’re stressed about. We think something is important enough that we can’t function without it. But there are many different ways to be stressed out in the long run. Some of us are stress-ready, and others need to learn how to make sure we’re aware of our stress levels and react to them accordingly.
Stress is probably the most common reason why people make mistakes with their health. But what does stress look like? As the old saying goes, “Stress is like a fever.” Stressed people feel stressed, they feel tired, they feel worn down. But the worst part is that once they’ve gotten a little down, they’re only going to get worse.
In addition to the physical symptoms of stress, the mind is also affected. Stress can cause you to have trouble concentrating, to feel short of breath, and to have trouble sleeping. The best way to prevent stress from becoming a problem is to learn to recognize it. Stress is a state of mind and body. You can think about stress, and you can react to it, but you can’t control it.
Stressing out is when you try to fight your way out of a situation.
In stress, you start to become over-controlled and lose your awareness of what’s going on. Being in a state of stress keeps your mind busy and hyper-focused on the problem. You’re not paying attention to what’s happening around you, and what you’re doing with your life. The mind starts to think in these “one step forward, two steps back” ways. You start to lose your ability to think like a human being.
So why does stress happen? Because there is a reason why stress happens, it is all on the mind. But what is it? Well, a lot of different reasons are given for the cause of stress. Here are a few: Lack of sleep, lack of physical exercise, having a bad case of nerves, a bad case of depression, lack of social interaction, etc. And you can do what to manage it, which is what I did.
In my last post, I gave you the top 8 reasons that stress happens, but I never mentioned the fact that stress can be caused by a lack of social interaction. This is something that can be very detrimental to us, and this is why I am so interested in you having a stress-management program. I have seen many people who have very little social interaction, and then complain that they are stressed because they are having a hard time keeping up with their friends.
Stress is often caused by a lack of social interaction. If you don’t get enough face time with your friends, you are going to get stressed. This is true whether it is a lack of social interaction or not. The important thing is to figure out what is going on. Then you can do something to help make the situation better.
One of the easiest ways to help with this is to schedule face-time with your friends. There are various apps out there that can do this, but if you are going to be spending as much time with friends as you are with your significant other, having something to do every other day is a good idea. If you are just doing random things at times, you will be less likely to get stressed.
In a way, this is probably the same as the stress of worrying about whether your husband is cheating on you. You don’t need to figure out whether he’s cheating, but you do need to figure out if there is a “stress” factor and deal with it.
