As a self-conscious person, I’m all the way up on the self-discipline Bible verse. I’ve been saying that for years. It’s one of my favorite bible verses. I’ve been saying it since I was a child. I think it’s probably one of the most important bible verses of all time.

You can be a great person, but if you are a terrible person to someone else, it may lead to some serious problems. Im always amazed when I read people say they want to be a great person, but don’t follow through with it.

As a Christian, I think we should all be paying attention to God and His direction in our lives, but we need to also pay attention to ourselves and our surroundings. I think self-discipline is the first step on the journey of self-awareness. The next step is to be able to pay attention to our actions, because that’s the first thing that we can learn to do.
