I’m not a big fan of the concept of’mood’, but that’s another topic. So, what are the moods that you feel in the morning? Are they happy, angry, frustrated, bored, or anything in between? If you answered ‘happy’, you are probably in the mood for some music, or maybe a good book or something else. If you answered ‘angry’, you are probably being a tad bit grumpy or angry.
The idea of moods is a common one. The term comes from a Japanese concept called “mood ring,” which is a set of nine items that your mood can be tied to.
The mood ring concept is a little confusing because there a number of mood rings that exist. For instance, someone who is in a happy mood might be happy all day, someone is in an angry mood all day and might be angry for the rest of their life, and someone is in a negative mood all day and might be pissed off all night. The idea is that a mood ring can be tied to one of these nine different moods.
In the new trailer, Colt is shown to have a mood ring that has a number of moods tied to it. For example, he is in a negative mood, and he is in a happy mood. There is a mood ring with a negative mood that is tied to him, and Colt uses this to attack the Visionaries.
The mood ring is tied to moods of anger, sadness, and happiness. We see Colt being in a negative mood, and there are a bunch of moods that connect to him in the same way. Also, there is a mood ring with a positive mood. Colt’s mood ring is tied to his positive mood and, in the trailer, we see him being happy.
In the trailer, there are some new powers included for Colts mood ring. He can use his ring to freeze others, which prevents them from moving, or to paralyze or kill a Visionary by placing the ring on their head or neck. We also see him using a different mood ring on a different Visionary. These tools allow us to do things that the game doesn’t currently do.
These new functions are mostly intended for combat, and are mostly fun, but they also might get some people into a mood, and might give a small edge to those who actually like the game.
I’d love to see some sort of ability for Colts to kill, but I’m not sure if that’s something they’ll want to implement. Since it won’t be implemented, I’m not sure how useful it will be.
rae wellness works pretty much the same as the other tools, except in this case its not a mood ring. Instead it is a “real time” mood ring which is used to show a Visionary the current mood and activity of the party. We are currently in the mood “Went to Hawaii” (for some reason that is also in the mood ring) but we have a mood “Went to Hawaii.
So how does it work exactly? Well, you put the ring in your pocket and you wear the ring, which is pretty much like the other tools. But instead of just letting a visionary know what your mood is, rae wellness will give you a whole hour of the real time mood at your own leisure. It’s really pretty cool.
