I’ve been a big fan of prenatal vitamins ever since I got my first prenatal (and then later my second) from the prenatal vitamins’ website. I thought they were the best prenatal vitamins around, and I’ve been getting them for years now with no problems. They are really affordable and well worth it.
For the past two years, Ive been trying to figure out exactly how the prenatal vitamins work. The one thing that Ive always thought was a must is the fact that the vitamins contain vitamin E. Vitamin E was always supposed to be one of the essential nutrients for pregnant women, but Ive never been able to find a study that clearly supported that fact. The idea of prenatal vitamins containing vitamin E is still one of the few things that people seem to be able to agree on.
Well, there is a study that clearly shows that prenatal vitamins contain vitamin E, but I personally don’t feel that its a must for pregnant women to be taking them. I think it’s probably enough to make a person feel better, and it certainly is better than a placebo or taking no vitamins at all. I do recommend that people take them only when you’re pregnant because the vitamins contain more fat than they’re supposed to, that could make you fat.

The only problem with prenatal vitamins is that everyone knows that they can’t be a medicine. Theyre only a vitamin and are therefore not needed during a pregnancy. (Unless you are already pregnant.) Theyre not even an essential food. In fact if youve eaten any of these vitamins, you know you have to get rid of them now.
Well, the purpose of prenatal vitamins is to reduce your risk of certain diseases, including diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. So, yes, many people agree that they are needed during pregnancy. But you shouldn’t have to pay for them. In fact, prenatal vitamins aren’t even essential to your health. If you’re not pregnant, you can easily substitute them for other food items.
But the prenatal vitamins that are essential to your health are actually very expensive. According to the Dietary Supplement Database, as of 2014, the cost of prenatal vitamins was $1.29 per day. Thats actually less than a meal for a typical American diet. Even though the cost is high, the fact that there are so many people who think their prenatal vitamins are a necessity shows that there arent enough people who actually believe these things.
And it’s not just the cost of the vitamins that’s high. The fact that the prenatal vitamins are not as beneficial as they claim is also a problem. A lot of the reason why pregnant women end up giving birth to children with disabilities is a product of taking too many prenatal vitamins. When your body is trying to make sure you’re carrying a baby, it needs a lot of vitamins.
I like my prenatal vitamins because they are good for me. I want them, and I expect them. I dont trust the manufacturers. I always read the ingredients. It’s not a big deal with the health food stores, as long as you’re buying organic. But the health food stores are a different story.
I could go on and on about the benefits of prenatal vitamins, but I’m sure you get my point. The point is that when it comes to vitamins, the benefits just aren’t available to everyone. So you’ve got to take it all in the spirit of giving, and giving is the only way to get the maximum return on your prenatal vitamin investment.
