This post-op care stuff is why it took us all of three days to get ahold of you when you finally came out of the hospital. (And to be honest, you did come out of the hospital just fine.) But its cool that you’re getting to do most of that stuff again, because you’re a lot healthier now.

It’s not always easy to get good news. I usually have to wait about four days for a positive test result. But even if that isn’t an issue for you, I’d still encourage you to talk to your doctor about getting a refill on your pain meds. That’s the best thing anyone can do for you right now.
It’s important to remember that although the pain will be gone, you will still be under the care of a healthcare professional. If you choose to go into surgery, you don’t want to be here if something goes wrong. If you feel you need to be here, you should ask your healthcare provider if you can come back later for further treatment.
