Are You Getting the Most Out of Your men’s mental health day?

The National Men’s Mental Health and Wellness Foundation’s annual men’s mental health day will take place in the beautiful city of Boston on Sunday, July 15, and will be hosted by Boston University’s School of Nursing. The goal of this unique event is to promote healthy mental health among men through interactive presentations, networking opportunities, and community activism.

The day is a joint effort between Boston Universitys School of Nursing, Boston Universitys School of Medicine, and Boston Universitys School of Law. Both the School of Medicine and School of Law will offer a series of one-hour presentations, as well as interactive activities to promote a better understanding of men’s mental health issues and ways to support them.

The day’s theme is “meningitis,” a common cause of meningitis. The presentations will include research and evidence-based information about meningitis, as well as education about the most common causes of meningitis, including the most common symptoms. The presentations will also feature several live demonstrations of physical and psychological methods for support of men in their distress.
