I recently finished my first iron level test at home. The results were pretty interesting and surprising. I was surprised by the fact that I was able to level my kitchen sink and countertop with two hands, although I was so tired I could barely hold a cup. My level test was basically a test of my physical strength. I felt like I could handle the task with ease, but I really needed to see the difference between my physical strength and my mental strength.
I think Iron-leveled tasks are difficult because we don’t know what we’re doing, so we tend to rely on our own strength. It’s almost like we’re trying to out-think ourselves. So when we do these things at home, we’re not really sure how much we’re succeeding or failing.
At my house, I like to test my mental strength in something like a chess game. I like to try to remember my previous moves and to see if my next move is better than the previous one. It helps me to see if I can still improve my game.
