My first visit to Pakistan was a decade ago.
After that, I visited here a few times over the years, but that visit was by invitation only. That visit was two and a half years ago.
When I was in Pakistan, I was visiting my then-sister in Lahore. She was visiting her grandmother in Karachi too.
I can’t say anything bad about Karachi, but when I visited Lahore I had to deal with the fact that I didn’t have any Pakistani friends. I had made it my mission to visit every Pakistani friend I could find in the states until I got a visa. It was a good thing I didn’t have much of a social life. I’d never spent more than a few days with any Pakistani friends, which made it difficult to get along with them.
Lahore is a city in western Pakistan that’s quite different from Karachi. The city is on the banks of the Indus river on the western edge of the country, and it’s also on the way to Afghanistan. It’s known as the “Gateway of the East.” This meant that Lahore was a city of great importance to the early Mughal Empire, but also one of the most heavily fortified cities in all of Asia.
Lahore is often regarded as the “Gateway of the East,” a major location for trade, travel, and religious rituals. The city was originally built for the Mughal Empire by the Muslim army in the early 1500s, but since then it has been a major city in the history of the country. Before the Mughals, it was the capital of the Nizam, a dynasty that ruled the area from the 16th century until 1851.
In Lahore, you can’t just wander around aimlessly, you have to know where to go to. One of the best ways to explore Lahore is to travel by air and plane. You enter the city by the airport and can take a number of different buses to get to places. This is great because you can get lost very easily, but you can also use it to get to your destination in a more organized fashion.
It’s a good idea to go by air in Pakistan because it’s more expensive. But even this is not a guarantee. Air Asia, for example, is now offering flights to Pakistan but only to the airport in Islamabad. You can also fly to Lahore directly from London if you’re willing to do a little bit of leg work.
Pakistan is the most populous nation in the world with more than 1.5 billion people. In addition to the country’s vast geographical size, its diverse ethnic and cultural makeup, and the relative wealth of its people, it’s also extremely mountainous. Air travel in Pakistan is currently by a mix of regional and long-haul airlines. This means that if you want to fly from one place to another you really only have a few options.
The most popular option is to go by air to Peshawar, located in the north of Pakistan and closest to the country’s largest city of Karachi. You can also fly to Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, and Dera Ismail Khan via Faisalabad.
