This is the best way to get yourself going in an awesome way.
I’m serious.
I’ve always been known as a “self-aware person.” I’ve always been curious and interested in others’ thoughts and actions, and I’ve been taught to think about my own thoughts, actions, and feelings. But what’s so cool about all of this is that it seems to also manifest on a daily basis. I’ve noticed that as I go about my everyday activities there are little reminders and messages about why I am doing the things I am doing.
My thoughts and actions are my own too, and I choose to be aware of them, but there are other ways to get yourself going too. I don’t know about you, but I like to use my affirmations. An affirmation is just a thought or suggestion with a specific message attached, like “I’m positive, I’m confident, and I’m ready to be myself” or “I’m feeling better than I’ve ever felt before” or “I’m feeling confident and beautiful”.
What this really means though is that I like to use affirmations to help me see the direction I want to go in and how I can get there. I’m not saying this is the only way to get the things you want, I’m just saying I like to use them and see the changes I can make.
I use affirmations every day. I have been doing it for six years. But in the past I have not been on the same page with myself, and for me, it has been a lot of work. But I have noticed a slight shift lately. It is because I am starting to see the bigger picture and appreciate that I can actually make any change in myself.
I think the most common reason for people not feeling good about themselves is because they think one way is better than another. But that’s not true. We can all improve our lives and feel more fulfilled by making small tweaks we can each make. These are the things I’m talking about if you want to feel better about yourself.
The idea is to look at your goals and make a list of things you want to accomplish in the next few weeks. If you have a goal that involves the ability to make $100,000 just in the next week, put all that money into a savings account and invest it for a year. The goal may change, but the process will.
You can do the same thing for your career, in the same way. I’ll give you an example. I’ve got a goal of being a self-employed developer by the end of the year, which means I want to make 40,000 in the next week. That means I’ll need to put 80% of that into an investment account. That means I’ll need to work out that 80% for the next week.
The 80 hours needed to do that are just the first few steps. We are now looking at 10 hours a day. So that means Ill need to work out that 80 for 10 hours a day in order to make 40,000 in a year.
