cross drawings in pencil

A cross drawing is a drawing in which a pencil is used to create a line in the shape of a cross. It is a drawing based on the image of the Lord, Christ, the cross and the story of the disciple who carried the cross. The drawing is often made as a memorial to the person who has died.

Cross drawings are a form of “crossing”, a type of art that has two elements. The first element is the image of the Lord. The second element is the image of Christ. The first element is our “cross of God” and the second element is our “cross from Christ”.
