I am the mother of a beautiful baby girl, and as a single parent, I’ve had to deal with sleep deprivation since the day she was born. Ive noticed that most people with preemies get cranky and cranky when they have to put them down, and its not like they need to sleep or anything. But that is very rare.

Preemies are born into a world that doesn’t allow them a lot of freedom and is constantly on the lookout for things to hurt them. So when a baby is born, it is not surprising that the parents are super tired.
