The idea seems pretty brilliant. Maybe if they could teach a person to paint with their hands and use colored pencils for example, they could get the same mental benefit? They’re not for beginners. We have one level 1 class and two levels 2 classes. You don’t need to be a professional artist to take these. But if you want to learn the basics, we also offer a 1 level art classes taught by an artist that is known for his work.
I think it is safe to say that akara arts is the place to go if you want to get some art done and the classes are that good. They have a great group of artists that are willing to teach you. I would recommend that you check out the class schedule. It is very simple. They have a daily class, which is the same as a regular class, but they also have an evening class (which is more of a drawing workshop in my opinion).
In the evening class, the artists will be giving you 1 hour of instruction, which will include a drawing, colored penciling, and a good amount of color theory. This class is one that I think you should go to if you are serious about getting some good art done.
