It’s important to note that there is a difference between calories and calories burned. We know that more calories are burned when we do more physical activity. But calories in and calories out are two different things. If you’re hungry when you’re at the gym, you’re doing more activity than if you’re not hungry in the gym. So calories in are more specific to the activity you’re doing, and calories out are more general.
We have a lot of scientific studies that show that calories in in the evening are more important than calories in during the day. That’s because in the evening, you’re less likely to be hungry, so youre burning more calories. So if youre hungry in the morning, youre probably eating fewer calories in than youre eating in the evening.
This is backed up by the study of overweight people, who burn fat more when theyre hungry. Calories out, however, are more important for people who eat too much. It depends on your activity, but your body is going to burn more calories in for most activities so that your calorie intake is higher.
To get an idea of how much you might burn in, think of it like this. If you were to eat a banana with a cup of coffee, after youve eaten it, you would still have an ounce of coffee left. The caffeine would have been converted into sugar and then burned off. But if you ate a cup of coffee and a banana, you would have eaten an ounce of coffee and a banana.
However, calories are only one of many factors that determine how much you can expect to burn. As with most other factors, the only real way to determine this is by experimentation. That’s why we developed a calorie calculator that’s available on our website. It will tell you what your metabolism can handle, and what foods will put more calories into your system than others.
As another example, if you drink alcohol, you may not be able to drink that much if you do it at night. If you drink it at night, you may be able to drink it more than you can when you wake up. Thats because your body is still putting it into that state of burning calories at night. In a similar manner, if you exercise, you can also expect to burn calories more than you can during your day.
If you’re someone who’s a big fan of eating “fast” or “exercise” food, you’re in luck! Now you can have your breakfast, dinner, and snack all in the same day and enjoy your meals at the same time. A good example of this might be having lunch and dinner at the same time, and then having a snack mid-day.
You can even have your meals and snacks on the same couch, which I think is a huge plus.
I’ve been trying to eat this way for the past three days, and I can honestly say I feel great. I just got back from a two-week vacation in the Caribbean, and I was able to eat all my meals and snacks in the past two sitting and resting before I went. I had one cup of coffee and just a couple of nuts the entire day, and it was like I was eating for a very long time.
So I know this is a bit of a cheat, but that same theory could apply to other things, like eating a banana mid-afternoon.I’m usually pretty quick to eat a banana when I’m full, but I’ve been craving that banana for days after an hour or two of my lunch, so I’m using that theory to my advantage. For now, I’ll be eating banana and a glass of water at lunch today.
