This week I’ll be talking about our week of meaning. This week I’ll be looking at the meaning of my week. This week I’ll look at the meaning of my life. This week I’ll be looking at my life, my relationships, and my passions. All of these things are about the meaning of our lives. The meaning that we create about the things that we hold dear to our hearts.
In our world, it’s easy to think that the only things that matter are material things, like cars, clothes, or food. But the fact is that more often than not, the meaning of a particular act or action or relationship is much more important than the material object itself. It is much more meaningful to look deeper at what you do in order to understand why you did it in the first place, rather than merely focusing on the object itself.
Meaning. The act of creating something worth expressing your emotions to others about. The act of writing your thoughts down; the act of drawing your emotions into your art to communicate with others about. These are the acts that matter to us more than their material components.

We, as humans, are very creative beings, and it’s not uncommon to find people who are quite accomplished in many different areas of art. Like the person who draws a perfect circle in a map. Or the person who draws a perfect circle in a map, but can’t get rid of the dotted lines between the points. The thing about drawing circles in a map is that it is difficult. No matter what the artist does, the size of the circle is always the same, and this means that it is impossible to have a perfect circle. One way to get a perfect circle is to draw one, then take a sharp pencil and draw a circle that is exactly half the size of the first one. But this requires a lot of self-control.
This week, it’s the week that many of us are most likely to do. We tend to spend every minute of the week (or at least the majority of the week) in the company of people we love, and that means that we are always surrounded by things we are passionate about. By contrast, for most of us the week is spent doing what we love, sometimes for a few days, and then we leave it.
If this were the rule, it would be easy to spend our week feeling miserable because we’re not doing what we love. But that is not the case at all. Our week is full of meaning. There is no more important a moment than the week of meaning. We all have a job to do, and for most of us, there is a big division between the time we spend being productive and the time we spend being productive.
If you can’t remember why you are doing what you are doing, then you are probably not doing it. The fact is that your week is full of meaning. Just take a moment and think about yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that. Spend the majority of your week doing what you do that is meaningful, and you will end up feeling like you have the most meaningful week of your life.
