If you are looking to protect your periods, there are ways to help prevent them, but you need to be careful because some people think they can put vitamin C in their foods to prevent periods. It still left me with some cramping and some bleeding, which were both pretty annoying.

If you try this at home, it might not help. The best thing you can do as a preventative is to get some calcium. It is recommended you do this, because calcium is also needed for healthy bones. If you don’t have enough calcium, you can’t really get enough vitamin C, which is needed for healthy teeth.
