The most basic form of self-awareness is the ability to recognize our own thoughts and feelings. While you can’t actually perceive what you are thinking, you can see what you are feeling. One of my favorite ways to experience this is to simply place a prepaid envelope in the mailbox. I’ve used this as a form of self-awareness when I’m working out, running, or going to a bar.
Ive also used this method when I wanted to make myself feel better, especially during times where I was feeling sick or depressed. I placed a prepaid envelope in my mailbox every night before bed and it instantly helped me feel better and less sick.
You can take advantage of this by keeping a prepaid envelope in your wallet or purse or in a separate place that you can access at a later time. You can also keep a prepaid envelope somewhere you can see it when you’re not using it. It’s a quick way to feel better, to be less angry, or to change your mind about something.
I think the idea of keeping a prepaid envelope in your wallet or purse helps immensely when you need to reach out to a friend to vent and/or to talk about the things you truly care about. When I use it this way, I feel much more peaceful and I don’t get caught up in the mental noise that can make you feel like you’re shouting into the void.
If you don’t want to use a prepaid envelope, you can always put it in your wallet and take it out whenever you need to do something for someone.

I’m a realist. Sometimes you just need a little boost. And this is the thing that helps me. Self-addressed envelopes are a quick and easy way to send an e-mail to someone, send money to someone, or just send a quick note. If you have a prepaid envelope and you’re in a hurry, you can just pocket it and pop it in your wallet or purse.
The only thing that really matters is that you get to see your name in the envelope. The more you use it, the more you’ll see your name in the envelope, but if you don’t use your prepaid envelope, you will only have your name on the address on the front of the envelope.
As for the USPS, they have changed their policy to stop all deliveries of prepaid envelopes. If you have a prepaid envelope and youre in a hurry, you can just pocket it and pop it in your wallet.
If you don’t do this, you won’t see your name in the envelope, which could make your address look like crap, as you won’t be able to easily find it on your phone.
