Poke sticks are the most common type of fishing tool. They are made by using a stick to poke a hole in wood. For this tutorial, I am using a wooden stick to make a hole.
The first thing you should do is use tweezers. This is a very important step because tweezers are designed to be used with water, so you don’t need to be dipping water into them.
Now to get the hole just right, use a drill and a drill bit. Drill a hole in the tip of the wooden stick and then drill a hole perpendicular to the stick at the bottom. This is to allow a bit of wood to poke through. Repeat this drilling and drilling process, making sure to get all the holes quite close to each other.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m a fairly good stick-poke player. I am, in fact, more of a stick-poke player than I am a stick-shooter player, because I’ve never really hit a target with my stick. That said, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve that can help with getting yourself into a good position for a proper shot.
The first is to get into a good position for a proper shot. The very first thing to do when you have one of your fingers on a stick sticking out is to get it to the ground. If you do this without any kind of object to hold onto as you get ready to shoot, you will inevitably have the shaft of your stick poke through your fingers.
In order to protect your fingers from being poked, try keeping your fingers on the ground and use your thumbs to keep your stick pointed away from you. This will help keep your fingers apart so that you can move your fingers freely while you keep your stick pointed away from you.
If you’d rather be poked than hurt, try keeping your stick pointed away from you as you shoot at things. I’ve got a couple of videos on my YouTube channel showing people doing just that.
A good tip: keep your stick pointed away from you when you shoot, because if you shoot at something and hit it, it won’t hurt you. If you shoot a target and miss, you get a kickback (or something the same), which also hurts. Another good tip: if you hit something, and it doesn’t hurt, keep shooting until you get a kickback at least.
The same thing goes for your stick. If you hit something with it and it hurts, it wont hurt you. If you start it pointing right at something, it will hurt. But keep pointing it away from you if you hit something, because it wont hurt you. If you keep getting a kickback from someone hitting your stick with it, it might help you to keep the stick pointed away from you.
The best tip is to keep your stick pointed away from things you’re going to hit, and keep your stick pointed away from things you’re going to shoot at. This will actually help you to survive a lot of the things you’ll go through, and it will also help to protect your stick from things that are going to get kicked back at you.
