Care for tulips after blooming is another story. The flowers are not the only thing on my mind. I know that I have to care for all the things that grow on our farm. I also know that I have to pay attention to the flowers that I see.
It’s nice when my wife puts us in a position of having to pick our own food. We have a limited number of plants from which to choose for our kitchen, so we had to pick our garden carefully. Luckily, we had a vegetable garden that was going to be doing a lot of blooming in the spring, even though we couldn’t have cared less about the tulips because we’d had a few in the past.
I know that tulips are in season and that we can’t get our hands on them all before they grow into blossom, but I’m not too worried. What’s important is that tulips are something of a mystery to us. We just know they exist. In the trailer we see a farmer standing in the middle of a field and observing the tulip fields in the distance. He’s not sure what they are or where they came from, but he’s content that they are there.
The trailer goes on to describe how different tulip varieties bloom the same, which is why you should never go snooping for blooms in the middle of summer. When tulip season is in full bloom you should take care to only take flowers that are in full bloom, rather than just looking for those that are in their first flush of bloom.
The trailer then goes on to describe the ways to take care of flowers after they’ve bloomed. The first thing is to always remove any dead plants that are floating around in the flower field in the hope that they’ll die. Then you should pull out any weeds growing that are blocking the way into the flower field in order to clear the way for plants to grow in. This is important because weeds will grow back after the plants have bloomed.
This is a little confusing because weeds can sometimes be a sign of a disease, but weeds do tend to come back after the plants bloom. So weed removal is important, and if you pull them from the flower field, then it won’t be so easy for them to grow back again.
Tulips are a beautiful flower, but the blooming can also damage them if you don’t take extra care. The new Deathloop trailer gives a real-life example of this. The trailer shows a field of tulips blooming and then suddenly the weeds come back and kill the flowers. This can happen if you’re not checking for weeds around the entire flower field before you pull them out.
If you have a tulip field, you should really look after the flowers. Its a beautiful thing, but you can also be putting your health and livelihood at risk doing so. Tulips grow from seeds and you dont want to lose too many of your precious flowers by pulling them out. It is a very important step in the garden, but be careful what you do with them.
While we don’t need to do this for every single flower, you should make sure you are not pulling them out until you have time to check them for weeds. Even if you have a nice, manicured flower field, it’s still important to check every flower individually for weeds. If you do this and then immediately go to the next flower, you are likely losing a lot of those precious flowers.
Tulips are a very delicate flower and often require a lot of care. But even if you dont do this for every flower in your garden, it is important to do. This is why we call it the “pothole principle”. When you find a flower that needs to be pulled out, make sure you are not pulling them out before you have gotten a good look at it. After you have checked it, you can always check it again with the naked eye.
