You may know that with many new homes the toilet lid will be at the top of the water tank. This means that if you turn on the water tank valve, it will fill the toilet tank completely. That is a great way to keep the toilet lid off since it will keep it shut until the tank is filled.
Unfortunately the lid of the toilet tank will not stay shut, but the tank itself will. So the toilet lid is now closed, but the toilet tank is not. If you turn the water off and wash the toilet, the tank will then fill.
The lid will stay closed, however, so the toilet will fill to the top of its tank. However, this may be your only option if you want to wash the toilet again because it will then fill to the top, making the lid useless.
So if you’re planning on taking a quick trip to the bathroom, the lid won’t stay shut. Instead you’ll have to get the rest of the way up and off, which will probably not be a pleasant experience.
I’m sure a lot of you were hoping to find a better solution to this problem, but I have to say that it’s a bit hard to see how it could work. While the lid stays closed, water will still run through the tank, causing its contents to overflow. I would imagine this would cause any liquid waste to splash out on you.
While it does look as though this is a difficult problem, I can see how it could be solved. I would imagine you could try adding a few more holes in the lid to let some air in, but that would probably only cause the liquid waste to run out of the tank faster, not fall out. I would also imagine that some of the lid could be used to hold the water in, but I’m not sure how that would work.
Maybe try a couple of the other ideas I mentioned earlier. Or if you have the money and want to try something new, you could buy a cheap toilet lid.
The question is how you would do it. It’s not as difficult a problem as you might imagine. You could purchase some cheap toilet lid and use them to seal the toilet. I would imagine you would have to drill holes in the lid, but that might be just the thing you need to make the lid work. You could make one of the other ideas I mentioned earlier.
This is not a bad idea. But as with anything that is cheap, you’ll need to use a bit of elbow grease. I’m not sure I would recommend it.
I think we could go with the other idea you suggested. You can use the toilet to put your feet up, or you can wrap your arms around your head, but you can’t use it to put your legs up. You have to use a normal toilet lid.
