I am happy to announce that I have given birth to a beautiful baby boy. I am thrilled to have a family member to share in his fatherhood with and a partner to share a baby with. I am excited for the future that lies ahead for him and me.
The pregnancy of our son is a bit of a blur, but it happened yesterday, so we are a little less anxious. In the past, when I would get really excited I would call him “Pregnancy Blue Line”. He’s still called “Bump”, but now he’s “Pregnancy Purple Line” for good measure.
Purple line labour is basically when you want to scream and cry and be inconsolable, but then end up with something that is a little better than nothing. I had this weird situation happen when Bump was about 12 weeks old. He was in the middle of a period of crying, but then I got in the pool and saw him laying on the side. He was purple line. I was like, “Oh man, no, I can’t do that.
Apparently he was a purple line because the doctor was called to the house to take him to the hospital because he was having a problem with something called “pregnancy purple line labour.
I was going to say, “oh, I don’t know what that means,” but then I realized it was just a sign you should be careful with birth control, but then I realized that you can have a baby and still end up with something that is still purple.
While we’re on the subject of pregnancy, I have to say that this is the first time I’ve ever been able to see a purple line. I mean, I’m not a doctor, but I have seen many. Even in my own pregnancy, I can tell you that I had purple lines on my ankles. I just assumed they were because of some weird stretch mark I had. Now I know that’s not it.
I had a purple line on my ankles at a certain point in my pregnancy. I didn’t know if it was because of the hormonal changes or because I had been running around doing too much. The latter is definitely a possibility, but I’m not sure if it was a stretch mark or just a bunch of blood and sweat.
I had a purple line on my ankles, too. I had the same reaction to it that most people have when they go to the doctor and they see that there are red marks up the leg, right? It was very uncomfortable. I remember in the weeks before I went into labour I used to think that my labour was due to some sort of hormonal change or a stretch mark, but I just never believed it.
My mother and sister both have this exact same issue. And yes, I had to tell my mother that she would have to take my left leg and my right leg, because it had started to hurt so much. It’s a very uncomfortable thing to have happen to you while pregnant.
No, not so uncomfortable, no. It is very uncomfortable. It almost feels like you have a black hole inside your body. When you’re pregnant you have this weird feeling that you can’t get out. At least I don’t think I have. I know I’ve been very lucky to not have one of the issues that I have.
