I have never been more proud of my puppy than I am this week with her new owner. She took her first tentative steps, and she’s already out and about, looking for her forever home.
It seems like a lot of dogs have adopted the idea that their owners should be responsible for their puppy’s care. After all, if you’re the owner of a puppy, you probably should be doing something with it.
That’s probably true, but there are a few things to be aware of when it comes to your puppy’s care. For example, the responsibility falls on you to give your puppy sufficient exercise, socialization, and affection, and you may have to pay a pretty big price if it doesn’t.

When you’re a puppy, you can feel so vulnerable, but as an adult you can still get scared, so you can be more aware of yourself and your surroundings. You can also tell yourself that you’re not a victim. You can also tell yourself to calm down because you have to get ready for school, you have to get ready for practice, and you have to get ready for the big game.
