The Latin word for “valerius,” the name of a Roman bronze statue of a man with a sword in his hand, is also considered a symbol of strength in the ancient world as well. The Valerius is one of the greatest and most recognizable statues in the Roman world and is credited as one of the five greatest statues of ancient Rome.

So we all know that the Roman man with the sword in his hand is named Valerius? Well that statue is actually a statue that Valerius has been building for nearly 400 years on the island of Capri.

Capri is a small island off the coast of Italy. It’s known for its stunning views of the Italian Alps and the volcanic island of Capri. Capri is a very popular holiday destination for tourists. As it turns out, Capri is also home to many of the most amazing statues of ancient Rome.

We can go back to the old time-looping story. You may recall that about a century ago, in the early 1800’s, the Italian explorer Ligurian explorer Andra had a series of problems with the statue of Valerius Well that left him unable to get close enough to the statue to visit the island. It was a mystery why the island was so small and it’s not clear why Valerius Well was able to get to Capri with the statue.

As it turns out, Capri is also home to many of the most amazing statues of ancient Rome. We can go back to the old time-looping story.
