Thyroid and high blood pressure are two of the most common and treatable conditions that have affected our lives in recent years. The two are closely linked, and it’s hard not to think of them as the same thing. But while thyroid disease and high blood pressure can cause the same symptoms, the signs and symptoms of one are often much more severe than the other.
The thyroid is the gland that helps our bodies deal with excess thyroid hormones. This gland is located in the neck, and its job is to keep the excess hormones inside. Excess thyroid hormones can also cause high blood pressure. The high blood pressure problem has been much more commonly addressed by drugs like diuretics, but thyroid pills can be just as effective.
Thyroid pills can be effective for high blood pressure. The problem is that if too much thyroid hormone is left in the body, it can cause diabetes. And that’s exactly what the thyroid pills that doctors are prescribing to patients who have high blood pressure don’t solve. I mean, I’ve been on thyroid pills for years and I don’t have high blood pressure. But if you’ve got high blood pressure, your doctor doesn’t know what to tell you.
It’s probably because there are so many different ways to trigger thyroid hormone so it’s hard to know which ones are most effective. That is why I recently got a prescription for a prescription thyroid pill because I had high blood pressure and just couldn’t figure out which pill was doing what to my body. I was on three different thyroid pills and none of them seemed to work.
I had a good doctor who sent me to a specialist in endocrinology to get a prescription for a thyroid. They told me if I was on thyroid pills all day I would have constant high blood pressure. I also had to go to a dietician to learn which diet would best reduce my high blood pressure.
If you have thyroid problems or high blood pressure, you should talk to your doctor about your thyroid, or consult your endocrinologist about what diet makes sense for you.
In the past I’ve seen thyroid and high blood pressure as two separate problems. But thyroid problems are typically worse than high blood pressure. Both are treated with the same kinds of medications, but there may be an overlap in their symptoms. If you have thyroid and high blood pressure, your doctor might want to consider seeing your endocrinologist to discuss the diet you need to follow to reduce both conditions.
High blood pressure is a big deal, because it’s one of the most common reasons people get sick and die. In fact, high blood pressure has been shown to be the number one cause of death in the US and the most common medical diagnosis in the US. A high blood pressure reading above 160 systolic (stress) should be considered high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure are more likely to have heart attack, stroke, heart bypass surgery, and kidney failure.
As for thyroid, the majority of Americans get this condition. It’s caused by an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid gland. If thyroid is not controlled, it can cause the patient to have an enlarged thyroid gland which can lead to hyperthyroidism and the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism can eventually result in heart failure and even death. It’s caused by an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid gland.
People who have a thyroid issue (either thyroiditis or Hashimoto’s disease) are at increased risk for high blood pressure. They need to work with their doctor to manage their condition and prevent any future complications. A 2015 study found that patients with Hashimoto’s disease have an increased risk for heart disease and high blood pressure.
