There’s a lot of talk about how tea plants can be harmed by light, heat, and humidity, but there’s also a lot that is unknown about them. It’s easy to think about how plants can be harmed by light, heat, and humidity and not realize there’s a lot more being done right now to keep it safe and healthy.
The biggest thing to watch for here is that tea plants are very sensitive to temperature. They can easily be killed by extreme heat, too. Thats because the leaves of a tea plant are very thin and delicate and they’re more vulnerable to damage from a high temperature than they are to light, heat, and humidity. This is why tea plants are often grown in very cool places like the shade of an old tree or under a tree full of leaves.
It seems that many people have found that the best way to keep tea plants healthy is to cut them off from the rest of the plant, to the point that they no longer look like tea plants at all. The way to do this is to cut off all the leaves from the bottom up. This is the most common way to do this. However, there are a few other ways to keep tea plants healthy.
It seems that if you don’t cut off the bottom leaves, then you lose some of the moisture that you need to keep the plant healthy. The best way to keep the bottom leaves from becoming dry is to put the plants in a warm location and only cut off the bottom leaves.
Once we know what to do, we can put them in the fridge or on the windowsill for a few days to let them adjust to the cooler temperatures. We can also soak them in a solution of water, vinegar, and water, or a solution of lemon juice, vinegar, and water. We can even place them in a cool oven or on a sunny windowsill. The only problem with this method is that they can easily go mouldy.
This can be really bad though. You may have to make sure that you do not try this with a pot plant. Pot plants are more susceptible to getting mold growing in them.
Some plant breeders use some of this to try to get a more ‘garden-y’ look to their plants (to their dismay). When we first took tea plants home from the nursery, we were surprised to find that they actually had a little greenish stuff growing out of the back of their stems. It was like they were trying to grow a beard as they were growing in our pot.
This stuff can also grow on your plants if you leave too long. Most new plants, especially the ones we’ve had over the past few weeks, actually have a small amount of this stuff. We’ve found it to be fairly harmless for a while, but if you do decide to try it, avoid the temptation to use this on plants you want to enjoy. We’ve also found it to cause problems with a few of our favorite things like parsnips.
The tea plant that we have now is a’mini’ one grown on a pot of dirt with a bit of sun. It doesnt have as much of this stuff as other tea plants, and only slightly more than our tea pot, but that has never stopped us from enjoying it.
The problem with tea is that the leaves are pretty waxy, so you cant really use them for much else. The reason why we have been using it for this is that we have found it to be of somewhat limited effect, but it has been enough to give us another small crop of tea.
