stress spotting is a term I coined to bring awareness to how much I tend to stress about a lot of things in life. I like to think I’m still a low-stress version of myself, but I’m definitely not perfect.
So there are a few things I can stress about in my life: The fact that I don’t know what I’m doing, that I haven’t finished my book, that I don’t have an audition coming up, that I’m not going to be the best at this, that I’m not going to be the best at that. I even stress that I’m nervous about giving a presentation for the first time because I’ve never given a presentation before.
If you feel the same way, then you should read or watch an informational video about stress. There are a few things to stress about in life, but a lot of it is just a matter of how you think things will turn out. For instance, if everyone is going to be a successful musician who makes a lot of money, that would stress me, since I dont know if I will be there to make it happen.
This is where stress spotting comes in. If you have a stress about the size of your bank account, then you are probably going to be stressed about how you are going to pay for your next meal.
Stress is basically just a way of thinking about things in a more negative way, so you can easily think about things in a more positive way. And once you start thinking this way about things, you can relax. You really just have to get your stress down a notch and be happy about it. For example, I have a really stressful job. But I make a really great salary, and this is why I have a stress about my finances.
Like many other things, the stress of paying for your next meal is a perfect example of stress spotting. The way to deal with stress is to stop thinking about it and just be happy about it. It’s just a really simple and easy thing to do. Try it.

Change your routine by getting up earlier and taking a walk, or doing a workout. You’ll also want to schedule time with your boss, but be sure to be flexible. If you have time off, take it as a bonus. If you miss a meeting, take it as a downer.
If you have a stressful day, try to make it more enjoyable by doing something enjoyable. Maybe take a nap or just take a long walk. This usually helps.
