A good self neck adjustment can be as simple as wearing a neck brace or having your neck evaluated by a professional.
I’ve had a neck pain for a few years now. I’ve had to have one taken out because of it. It’s been about six months since I’ve had surgery, and now that I have a new look and feel, I’m feeling much better. It’s not so bad that it gets in the way of my everyday life, but it’s a reminder that I have to take better care of myself.
Although the neck pain is pretty much a thing of the past, it’s still important to keep in good health. So if your neck is out of alignment, it can be the difference between being able to do most of your daily activities or not.

Neck exercises generally require some sort of neck support or a board that can be strapped to you. Most of the time, neck exercises are the least painful way to relieve neck pain, but if you’re not having difficulty with your neck pain, you’re probably not doing neck exercises correctly.
Neck exercises are usually easy to do when you have a solid, stable base from which to balance out the weight. So when youre not using a solid base, or youre not using a board for support, youre probably not doing neck exercises correctly.
In other words, if youre trying to increase neck strength with a bunch of weights, you can probably do it pretty painlessly with the help of a regular neck board. If youre trying to maintain neck strength with a bunch of weights, however, you might need to do neck exercises with a board.
Personally, I would recommend a neck board. It will be more difficult to do exercises on that board, but the weight is less important with a board. I use a regular board whenever I want to work my neck muscles, but I also use a neck board when I’m doing a lot of exercises that require my neck to be bent or extended.
