If you have a family that’s a “conservative,” you probably have to deal with the family dynamic that comes with it. There are the things you have to do to keep your family safe, the things you have to do to keep your family healthy, the things you have to do to keep you from going to jail, and so on. These things are so important that you can’t let anything else stand in your way.

The same thing happens with prefixes. As you get older, you become more conservative. You become more controlling, less adventurous, less free spirited. You take on parental roles, and you take on social roles, and you take on moral roles.
