I have to admit I was a tad nervous at first when the developers told us that this game would be a time-traveling shooter. I mean, what exactly is that? But then I realized that I was being played (at least for the first 20 or so minutes) by a guy whose real name is David. Yes, I know that there are people whose names are on the title screen. That doesnt mean its not the real David.
The game starts when you have to choose to pee while running. The idea is that you need to pee while running to prevent the Visionaries from replaying the scene. You also need to pee to make it to the Visionaries so that they can’t replayed the scene.
I have yet to see a single peeing scene, and the only thing that I can think of is that there is no real toilet in the game.
The toilets are pretty much the only way to take a leak in Deathloop. The rest is all about the Visionaries. The Visionaries are like a race of people who have been locked into one day and they all want to run around until they die.
If you can’t pee without using a toilet, you’re gonna find the Visionaries pretty annoying, so the best thing to do is pee while you’re running. The only way to do it is to run, and the Visionaries are pretty fast and have plenty of stamina.
I’m not sure there is a “best” way to pee, just that the one I chose was pretty darn cool.
So the Visionaries are using the day to piss. They’ve been locked into one day for a reason, or they’d be able to go to sleep, or they’d be able to stop being locked into one day. But they’re stuck in a day and now they need to be able to pee. So they have to be able to pee while running. Which is just a cool way to piss.
