It means that if you try to be self-aware, you will only become aware of your own self-preoccupation. That’s what I’m talking about here. Self-awareness is where we are aware of our thoughts, feelings, emotions, habits, and actions.
The problem is that in every other culture, self-awareness has come to mean being aware of our thoughts, feelings, emotions, habits, and actions. I’ll be honest, I’ve often wished that I was self-aware, especially when it comes to my mental health. But I’m not. I’m self-aware of what a crappy day it is, but I’m also aware of what I’m doing so it doesn’t seem like I’m always self-aware.
The point is that self-awareness is a state of being. If we are unaware of our actions, our habits, and our emotions, then we are not self-aware. Without self-awareness, we are not aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Without self-awareness, we are not aware of how our behaviors affect our environment, and ultimately our lives. In order to become self-aware, we have to know our actions, habits, and emotions.
A person is self-aware of their actions if they can say, “I do this.” The same is not true for thoughts, emotions, and emotions. They just don’t register in our brain. For instance, a person is unaware of their emotions if they say to themselves, “I just want to be happy.” A person is unaware of their thoughts if they say to themselves, “I am thinking right now that I screwed up.
Our emotions are more like thoughts or memories but we have more of them than we ever thought we had. We have more than we can remember. If you have ever been on a flight and were feeling really happy and everything was going great, then you are aware of your emotions. However, if you are on a flight and do a little quick google search, you might see that the flight is taking you to someplace that you do not know the name of.
We have many emotions we don’t know what they are. For instance, we are quite aware of our emotions but we don’t know what they are. We can tell what something is, we can feel that something is right, but we just don’t know what it is. I guess we are feeling things that the rest of the world just doesn’t understand, but we are aware of them.
It’s because we are aware of our emotions that we can feel what our emotions are telling us. However, when we are not aware of our emotions, we can get confused and lose track of who and what we are feeling.
Parity is the psychological term for the relationship between two opposites, and since our emotions are opposite of our emotions our emotions can become parities. For instance, I can be angry, and if I am angry I can be sad, and if I am sad I can be angry. We all tend to get so caught up in our emotions that we forget what our emotions are, and we become parities.
So when we’re on the “autopilot” of our lives we have trouble knowing what we’re actually feeling. But when we’re not aware of what we are feeling, we can get confused about who and what we are feeling and lose track of who and what we are feeling.
People who don’t have self-awareness are susceptible to being stuck in a “parity loop”. Our emotions can become parities and we can lose track of who and what we are feeling. A person with self-awareness can even forget who or what they are feeling. For instance, a car thief can lose track of who and what they are feeling after pulling a few fast draws on a stolen car, and become temporarily stuck in a parity loop.
