I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this phrase. I’ve even heard it in my own voice. It’s like, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to live as myself,” or “I’m going to live as a self-aware person,” or “I’m going to live for myself.
I know Ive been on death-row for a long time, but Ive never really felt like I was actually living for myself. Ive always pretended to be someone other than myself to try to live a life that was more fulfilling and interesting than my actual self. But Ive always been more of a victim of circumstance than an intentional self-aware person.
Ive heard this myself in my own voice. Its like, Oh my gosh, Im going to live as myself, or Im going to live as a self-aware person, or Im going to live for myself. I know Ive been on death-row for a long time, but Ive never really felt like I was actually living for myself. Ive always pretended to be someone other than myself to try to live a life that was more fulfilling and interesting than my actual self.
I think this is because I have a tendency to think that things that really matter to me are going to happen to me anyway, but that just isn’t true. I still have a hard time seeing that my own actions, decisions, and behaviors are going to affect me, and that this is okay. Although, this is a good thing. We tend to think that our own happiness and fulfillment are more important than our friends’ happiness and fulfillment.
To live a life that was more fulfilling and interesting than my actual self. This is because I tend to want to live life to the fullest. I see myself as someone who has a lot of freedom and opportunity to live life as I see fit. I don’t think this is a bad thing, but I think it is a problem that we tend to just take too much pleasure in our own lives.
We humans tend to value our own happiness more than our friends and family. This is partly because our memories are so vivid that the pain and sacrifice of others (who have probably done us worse than we would have done) seem insignificant. Other things being equal, more people than you care to remember who really matters. But the thing is that there are other things that matter as well.
The trouble with this is that we are often so absorbed in our own lives that we don’t see them for what they are. We tend to think we’re happy because we think we’re doing something good for others, and we’re too self-involved to see that we’re just doing things that are going to hurt others as well.
Because we are so consumed with our own lives, we often don’t see the bigger picture. Most people who are in this situation don’t realize that this is a problem until it hurts them. It’s not simply that they have a problem. The problem is that they are so self-involved that they aren’t really thinking of the bigger picture because they aren’t even aware of it.
I think it is important to note that we are indeed, all doing things that are going to hurt others. But we don’t realize that because we are so self-involved, we are not really thinking about the bigger picture. It is a mistake to think that we are all doing things that will benefit our own goals, because we are far from it.
What happens when you feel like youve got the whole world on your shoulders and you ve never given a thought to the bigger picture? You get stuck. And it can become very frustrating. You might think, “How can I take my feelings about this situation into my next action?” That will get you off track. However, you are not thinking about this situation. You are thinking about what you want to do next, what you think you should do next.
