It is interesting that if you’ve been reading our blog for some time, you would find a lot of posts that talk about our beliefs about what it means to be an ally. The first time I saw the term “lgbt”, I was confused and asked “what does it mean to be an ally? Why would I be an ally?”. The next time I saw that term, I was so excited that I was already a part of it.
Our beliefs about what it means to be an ally run the gamut from saying it’s important to stand up for people whose voices don’t matter, to saying that we want to be allies because we enjoy a sense of community and we enjoy helping others.
We’ve all felt like we’ve been a part of something bigger than ourselves until we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. It seems like everyone we know has been a part of a larger community or organization. But I think that’s because people tend to believe in an idea of community when they first meet someone new. They may have been friends for a while but they haven’t established themselves as a part of the larger community.
We’ve been having a hard time with the idea of community for a while. I think that’s because we have been so busy interacting with other people. It’s like if you have a friend who has been doing something or a friend who has been doing something for a while but it seems like everyone is always on the same page or at the same level. People tend to think of community as a place to give back.
I think its a natural reaction. It is natural for us to want to give back to the community. To be a part of something bigger or more advanced than ourselves. To make a difference and be of service. But when we do that, we often forget to take care of our own needs as well. We forget to actually take care of our bodies, for example. We forget to take care of our clothes, or the way we treat ourselves.
One of the easiest steps to take is to take care of your body. I know it sounds weird, but if you’re a person who is constantly on the go, you’ll likely forget you need to take care of your skin as well. And if you’re a person who doesn’t take care of yourself, you’re probably going to forget you need to take care of your clothes, or the way you treat yourself.
What about for guys? What about getting a new shirt? If you have a new shirt, youll probably forget that for a few days. If youre a person who does not take care of yourself, youll probably forget you want to get a new pair of shoes, or a new haircut. Guys have a lot of things going on in their lives, so you dont have to take care of anything for a few days.
Yes, you do have to take care of yourself sometimes, but there are other times when you dont have to. For example, a few weeks ago I attended a party that was sponsored by a local LGBT group. I was a few weeks late for the party, and was walking from the parking lot to the party when I stopped my car and decided to go home. I could not find my keys, and the parking lot was packed with people and cars.
Before getting dressed, I read through my closet and realized that I may have to let go of some of my favorite items. For example, I had been wearing my g-string at a party last year, and I decided to go all out in my new dress that I bought for the party just a few weeks ago.
The main reason I had not been wearing my g-string at the party was because it had been a very hot summer, and I had just gotten out of the shower. This was a big deal for me because my friends were also wearing swimsuits that they had bought from the same store as my g-string.
