I’ve always been fascinated with the concept of the “future self,” as it relates to our future. The concept is that the future self is a part of us that we don’t realize we’re a part of until we consciously examine it, and that it is always changing.
Of course, the future self can be a painful thing to confront. If you think about it, your future self is probably not a part of you at all. It may seem like a piece of your mind, or even like a ghost, but it is, in fact, a fictional character created for entertainment purposes. The point is that the future self is something you have dreamed of and hoped for, but you never fully knew was possible.
By creating a future self, you may gain a lot of positive things. You may get to start a family, and a future self of your own, if you choose. You may even get to live out your childhood dreams of living in a certain city, running a certain race, or doing something with your life. But if you don’t have the foresight to understand what is coming for you, your future self will be one that has absolutely no meaning or value to you.
So to better understand your future self(s), you should write down the things you wish you had known when you were a child. You should write down the things you wish you knew when you were a teenager. You should write down the things you wish you knew when you were in your early twenties. Et cetera, etc. And so on.
Well, that is basically what this letter to my future self essay is about.
Okay, so that is basically what this letter to my future self essay is about. It’s also a good reminder that we’re all going to die, so we should all stop being so concerned about our “future selves.” We should stop worrying about our “future selves” and just focus on being who we are now. It’s not going to be a perfect future. We’re going to have to grow up a lot, and that will have some pretty big consequences for everyone.
It’s a good reminder that we should actually be living our lives, and living them the way we want to, instead of living them as a way to get to a future we don’t want to be. We should actually care about our lives right now. We can’t predict how our lives are going to end, but we can do the things that will get us to a perfect life, and this is something that we should all be doing.
Also, this reminds me of something that someone else said. The other day I was looking up the meaning of the word “desperation”, and I came across this definition: “a state of mind characterized by intense anxiety and panic”.
What I love about this statement is that it’s an accurate definition of how I feel right now. I feel like I’m about to die, but I also know that if I do die, I’ll be happy. I hate having to tell people I’m going to die before they can make a decision about how to treat me.
It’s called an existential anxiety disorder and it’s characterized by feelings of loss, but also fear of death. There are many different kinds, but the two I personally suffer from are the fear of not being able to die, and the fear of not being able to live a good life. It’s not just about feeling anxious. Often people use the words “death” and “life” to mean the same thing. But this time, I’m not talking about life and death.
