  • English Language: Error Spotting, Para Jumbles, Multiple Meanings, Fill in the blanks, and Paragraph Completion are some of the points to cover for the English language.
  • Reasoning: Logical reasoning includes topics like Alphanumeric Series, Alphabet Tests, Input-output, Data Sufficiency, Setting Arrangements, Coded Inequalities, Syllogism, Puzzles, Coding-decoding, Tabulation, and Blood Relations.
  • Mains Exam

The Mains exam covers four topics from the SBI clerk syllabus after passing the preliminary exam. The following are the specifics:

  • General English: General English contains topics like Reading Comprehension, Filters, Cloze Tests, Phrase Rearrangement, Para Jumbles, Connectors, Inference, Sentence Completion, Paragraph Conclusion, Phrasal Verb related questions, Error Detection, and Word Usage/vocal based questions.
  • Computer Awareness: The study points under Computer Awareness include Computer Generation, Abbreviations, Input-Output Devices, MS Office, Hardware, Software, and DBMS.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Here are topics for Quantitative Aptitude Data Interpretation (case let, bar graph, line chart, tabular, radar/web, pie chart), Inequalities, Quantity 1, Quantity 2, Quadratic Equations, Number Series, Mixture and Alligation, Simplification, Miscellaneous Arithmetic Problems.
  • Reasoning Ability: Reasoning ability contains Internet, Machine Input/Output, Blood Relation, Inequalities, Direction Sense,  Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Puzzles, Statement & Assumptions, Ranking.
  • General/Financial Awareness: General Awareness contains topics like Current Affairs (news on the banking industry, new schemes of central and state governments, sports). Static General Knowledge (country’s currency, headquarters of financial organisations of insurance companies, country’s capital) Nuclear and Thermal Power Stations, Constituencies of ministers. Banking and Financial Terms, Static, Banking and Financial Awareness and  Dance Forms.
