I love all the different varieties of freshwater shrimp and the wonderful foods they produce.
However, I can’t help but wonder how much the different varieties cost. I know that a shrimp that grows on sand in a pond costs about $1 to $2. But how much does a shrimp grown on water come in at? I know that the water is a lot cleaner on the farm and I know that the shrimp are much more expensive to produce. So can I get the shrimp cheaply? I don’t know.
I have a hard time imagining how they sell shrimp on the farm. They are a product with an unknown monetary value. The real cost is in transportation and the labor. The farm workers probably could afford to buy them but they would have to go to the store to get them from the farm and then they would have to be shipped to the store. The store would probably have to pay for all of that freight and shipping. So the cost of producing the shrimp is unknown.
One of the things that gets me in the mood to think about is the impact their shrimp have on the ocean. In a lot of ways the fish they do are the most important part of a shrimp production process. They eat the shrimp and they don’t care. It really is not the same thing as being a shrimp. I had a big fish that I wanted to see on the TV show. So now my wife and I are just going to eat a huge shrimp.
I used to fish all the time with my dad. He lived near this place. It was the biggest pond I ever saw. The fish were big and they were huge. We would all go out there and he would catch about 100 pounds of shrimp, and it seemed like it would be like two pounds of fish per person. But it was like 50 pounds of shrimp. You see them swim all over the bottom, you see them swim up. It was awesome.
The freshwater shrimp look like a cross between a chub and a prawn. They have an elongated body, like a prawn and an elongated head. Their body is covered in a silvery sheen, and they have big red eyes that look like they have red spots on them. The best part is that these guys have a hard shell and are great eaters. They are also really fast and don’t have any bones so they can move really fast.
The first shrimp I have ever eaten was at a sushi restaurant in Seattle. They came out of the restaurant with their heads pointing down at the ground, and they walked over and ate them. I guess it was the best sushi I have ever had.
The best part about freshwater shrimp is that they are extremely tasty and fast. The biggest problem I see with them is that they are inedible and can be hard to keep when you are trying to eat them. They seem to be popular with people for the wrong reasons though, as some of the guys in the trailer seem to be eating them for breakfast. I am going to have to keep an eye out for them, but I think they will be one of my new favorite foods.
