When my friend, Sarah, and I were on a long road trip in May, we began to have trouble eating all of the items on our menu. It was a bit annoying, but we weren’t out of our mind about how much we would miss. When we got back to our hotel room, we checked our phones and the emails we had received, but we were still feeling nauseated.
This is something that many people might associate with a panic attack, but that isnt quite the case. Most people have a “hard day” where they are so nervous about something they can’t quite articulate that when they get back to the hotel room, they feel the physical effects. They may be sweaty or feel anxious, but this is a physical reaction to a fear or upset. When you have a panic attack, there is no physical manifestation, just a constant feeling of worry and fear.
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress (not to mention over anxiety), but when that stress is triggered by a physical trigger, such as a panic attack, then things can get a lot more intense. A panic attack can cause your heart rate to spike more than a normal heart beat, you may feel dizzy or light-headed and even have a feeling of being short of breath. Not many people can say they have suffered this, but in the case of The Panic Attack, they have.

The first step is to go to your doctor and tell him that you’ve had a panic attack or that you’re feeling stressed or anxious. If he or she is willing to listen, you can say that you’ve had a panic attack, or that you’ve been stressed out or anxious.
