I’ve been saying for awhile that the best way to get over the fear of public speaking is to have a good friend who can laugh at your jokes. This is especially true when you’re feeling bad about something. With that in mind, I’ve made a list of the top 10 ways that you can help yourself feel a little better about public speaking and confidence.
First of all, you should always keep a positive frame of mind when you are about to make a speech. It is so important to have a positive frame of mind to help you feel good and confident. When you dont have a positive frame of mind, you feel bad. So you think about things like what other people are saying, how you look, how you sound, how you smell, etc.

Thank you for the tip. First of all, you are so right about keeping a positive frame of mind. I definitely recommend this tip that you can think of more than once because you will not be able to recall all of these tips.
I know I just spent the last 4 minutes on this but this is a great tip. I also hate to say it but I think the reason is because you don’t actually want to feel bad or angry or sad. You are just not in a position in any way to control these feelings and reactions. They will come out of control. So instead, you just try to do a few different things so you get through the day.
Another tip I’ve found extremely useful is to just try to do a few different things, and to do them in the order that you would normally do them. For example, if you always drink coffee, and you think that’s the best thing you can possibly do. Then you might want to drink tea, or you might want to do something else. If you always do these things, you will not be surprised if you’re feeling stressed, irritable, angry, and so on.
Another way I often try to do some things is to use a computer for a few days, and just do something. For example, if you’re a computer geek, you might be able to do this: Just type in your password and you won’t be unable to do it. I’ve seen this done several times, so it’s probably worth a try.
Sometimes its just easier to just do something, like go to the gym. If you have to go to the gym, you can do it in the morning, then go to the gym again in the afternoon. It will feel like youre back to normal and no one will notice you are doing it. However, with a couple of seconds of meditation, you can really relax and get into the right frame of mind for something like that.
People who don’t meditate have a hard time with this because they tend to think that they should meditate all the time because they should be able to do it. However, you can actually do it anytime and it actually doesn’t make you more stressed out or drained than if you just did it in the morning.
