The cervix after hysterectomy picture is an example of what I mean. I can’t even tell you what it looks like because, if I told you it would look like this, you would probably call me crazy.
The cervix after hysterectomy picture is taken from the book “Cervix after hysterectomy” by Dr. Jennifer Pannell. It demonstrates the typical results of an abnormal hysterectomy. I haven’t read any of the book, but I assume it is a good guide to what to expect.
I did a quick search on the cervix after hysterectomy picture and I only came up with a few sites. I just wanted to share my excitement over it because it is what I was thinking of when I saw it. Dr. Pannell’s book is amazing and a great resource for anyone considering an abdominal hysterectomy. The only thing I would change about it is the title.
As someone who has had an abnormal hysterectomy, I’m all about the book. It may not exactly be a guide, but it is a solid source for anyone considering or trying an abdominal hysterectomy. I just wish it had a really good introduction to the surgery. I feel like the only way to make sure you were up to date is to go to the surgery page on Dr. Pannells website.
That may not be the case here. There is a page at Dr. Pannells’ website called “Cervix After Hysterectomy” with lots of information. I think the book is a better resource for people considering this surgery.
As I mentioned, there is also a good, but more general, introduction to the surgery on Dr. Pannells website. I would suggest going there first to learn everything you can about it before you go to the surgery site. The surgery is extremely serious and it is important that you are completely informed before you go.
I’ve been a bit late to this party, but I’m going to say it now: If you are considering a C-section, you need to get yourself to the book Cervix After Hysterectomy by Dr. Jennifer S. Leakey. The book is a step-by-step guide on the surgery that comes with a lot of the information that I linked above. You can read some of it online or buy a hard copy from your local bookstore.
The information is good, but it’s also pretty graphic. There are pictures for all the major organs, so you will have to wait while they get scanned.
My first question to anyone going through a C-section is, “Do you have blood on your hands?” Because I am going through this surgery, I am in a bit of a rush to get to see my surgeon. I’m already on my way to the hospital. But I saw this little picture of my cervix after the surgery and it scared the crap out of me. The doctors told me that the cervix was stretched and it looked like it was bleeding.
The truth is, the cervix is one of the most complex and delicate parts of your body. The cervix is what allows you to transfer your baby to the uterus. In fact, the cervix is what prevents you from getting pregnant while you’re still in the uterus, so it is the part of the uterus that is constantly being stretched and stretched after your hysterectomy.
