When I go out for lunch or dinner, I frequently find myself feeling pressure to eat more and more canned food. The pressure to “just eat it” as if there was no tomorrow keeps me from really engaging in what I am doing.
The funny thing is that this can happen for a variety of reasons. Eating too much canned food is common among people who have a high level of inner pressure. They don’t really know what tomorrow will bring, and so they just continue to push themselves to eat as quickly as possible. It’s kind of like when you get too focused on your breathing and forget to watch your heart rate.
It’s like this for a lot of people – I know I have it a lot.
The best way to avoid this is to not start eating canned food and then immediately start eating it again. The second best way to avoid this is to start eating canned food and then stop eating it.
