I know it’s a difficult question, but I’ve had several men, both married and single, ask me the same question. When I answer this question, I’m reminded of the fact that our bodies are a mess, and that if we want to stay healthy and happy, we have to make changes.
Well shit, I know it sounds trite, but its true. Our bodies are a mess, and we can’t all be taking pills, drinking alcohol, or eating processed foods to keep our bodies running on the highest power settings to avoid all of the problems. We have to take care of ourselves. We also have to remember that our bodies are the most powerful thing in the universe. We literally have the power to do anything to our bodies.
I just want to end with a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, “We have the power to change our bodies.” That said, I also want to end with another quote, one that sums up the problem with the way we treat our bodies. “The body is a temple of the mind.” A temple to be sure, but also a temple for all the things that we should do in life, to make our bodies healthier and happier.
The problem is that we have overinflated the value of our bodies. We have become so focused on our bodies that we don’t take the time to think about them. We put all of our faith in what the newest “fashion” celebrity says about being a certain size or what the latest trend is, and we ignore what the average person (who is most likely to experience a body-related disease) has to endure.
The real problem is that our bodies are not our own, and unless we take the time to understand our own bodies and how to take care of them, we can suffer from overinflated expectations and feel we have to do things that are ridiculous. We need to remember that our bodies are for our own use, and that we should take care of them and make sure they are in good shape.
Well, that’s the good news. The bad news is that if you don’t take the time to care for your own body, it’s easy to end up getting sick. The good news is that there are a few things you can do to help your body stay healthy.
1. Take good care of your body and avoid any “natural” illnesses.
When it comes to caring for your body, a few things are important. First, it is important to get your blood pressure down to a healthy level. If you are taking medicine for high blood pressure, take it with a meal.
Taking a blood pressure pill is important, as this will help regulate the body’s blood pressure. It is also important to eat a healthy diet. If you eat junk food, you will absorb more salt and sugar which can cause your blood pressure to rise.
