I’m a woman, and I’ve been told I have a “period.” I feel like I’ve spent a long time in the bathroom, and I have never been told if it is a cramp or a period. We have to be careful of what we eat, what we wear, and what we do.
The first time I was told this I thought the women at the doctor were joking. Well, now I know better.
Well, it turns out that when you have a period your body will often produce extra estrogen, even if you’re not ovulating. This can be a little tricky to spot if it’s really late and you’ve been out of the loop, but if you don’t have any symptoms of period cramps, you shouldn’t worry.
Well, actually, we usually talk to our period cramps as being cramping because it makes sense. Because our bodies produce extra estrogen as we get older, the extra estrogen tends to make things go a little haywire, like the stomach rolling, the bladder filling, or the breasts jiggling. This is not a good thing. Period cramps can be extremely painful, and, despite what you may think, they can be very debilitating.
Yes, period cramps can be very debilitating. But that doesn’t mean they’re all bad. Some are mild and some are severe. As you get older, the hormones in your body change, and the endocrine system can become a bit wobbly, which can make it quite uncomfortable. Sometimes you might be having a cramp while you are brushing your teeth, or have a hard time sleeping, or whatever is the case.
You probably dont know that you have a cramp if you cant sleep. Most of the time, cramps are just a result of the hormone imbalance and are not a big deal. But if you have a cramp, you may need to ask your healthcare provider to figure out what is wrong with you.
Yes, you might have a minor uterine cramp, and yes, you might have an irregular period. But there are some signs that you should be concerned about. If you have a sore spot or a bleeding, it could be a sign that the endocrine system is not functioning correctly. Or, it could be a sign that your period is getting late. If you have a painful cramp, your blood pressure is low, which is a good sign that your blood flow is getting blocked.
If you ever see a doctor with an appointment scheduled, bring a piece of paper to let him know you know all about it. Not only will it help him determine just how serious it is, but he can also help you avoid problems down the road.
I know I’m supposed to be the expert, but the thing that really makes a woman’s period last is her blood flow. And you know why? Because if it’s blocked, you’ll have a period. And if you’ve got a blocked blood flow, it could be anything from a cold, a stomach bug, or even a UTI.
Periods are a symptom of UTIs. Because some people have blood flow to their bladder that is not blocked, they have to pee a small amount of liquid into their vagina. However, some women have blood flow in their legs that is not blocked that they have to urinate through their vagina. They can also have issues with urinating through their legs.
