I first heard about the alo yoga beverly hills retreat in 2012 and was instantly intrigued. After seeing their home, I knew this was going to be an amazing retreat. The community was incredible and the atmosphere was very supportive. I’ve been on the retreat since October 2013. I have to admit that I was one of the first students to arrive (I was the last one to arrive on October 13th).
The retreat is all about taking your yoga practice to the next level. They have a new mantra for the beginning of a new practice, and a new, more complex way of saying “goodbye” that you can use to exit a class. We are the final class of the retreat and because you’re the last to arrive, you get to have a very special experience with what we call “a little bit of silence.
While the philosophy of silent retreats may sound a bit like a hippie-dippie type of thing, the reality is that yoga is all about communicating, and silence is a very powerful way of communicating. Most other forms of meditation involve you being aware of your surroundings, but yoga is all about the silence of your mind.
In a silent retreat you can do more than just sit there and listen to your body breathe. You can meditate on the silence of your mind by learning how to do the breathing exercises. You can also explore the nature of silence by learning how to clear your mind of all distractions, and to see the world as a place of infinite possibility instead of a place of pure, static, and unchangeable possibility.
As a person who doesn’t have a lot of experience with yoga, I had a chance to try out a new program called alo yoga beverly hills (YOGA-BH) on a recent retreat with a small group of people. Basically, it’s an intensive, one week, yoga retreat for people who don’t have much experience with yoga, and people who don’t want to lose their motivation to practice yoga.
I was really excited when I heard about this new program because I want to get back to the basics of yoga practice. It’s a simple program, but it is also a long term yoga practice. I’d like to be able to sit down and do some intense yoga, but I’d also like to get a good dose of stretching in and build those muscles. All of these things I’d like to do in the next two weeks or so.
Alo yoga beverly hills is a new yoga training program aimed at new students. The program is offered by the very popular studio in Beverly Hills, called Alo Yoga Studios. The program is $100 for individuals and $250 for couples. If you want to start off with yoga, this is a great program. It is not too long or too intense, and the instructors are really friendly and helpful.
To get an idea of how this program is done, the studio has been offering the program for four months. There are three levels of classes, and the instructors vary in their teaching methods. The instructors are doing a lot of vinyasa flow and a lot of physical activities that involve movement but not much stretching, which is what a lot of new yogis think yoga is all about.
The program is great, and the instructors are really great to work with, but in order to get an idea of how to do it, one needs to do it. There is no point in learning the complicated techniques, rather, one needs to get into the basic elements of it. For example, one can learn the techniques of vinyasa flow, but one would be better served by learning the basic elements of it, like walking, breathing, and stretching.
In our own experience, I’ve found most people think that stretching is a waste of time, that they’re wasting their time, and that they can just as easily do it when they feel like it. The truth, however, is that stretching is a very valuable exercise. It is used for a variety of purposes, including recovery, self-awareness, and even as a way to improve muscle tone.
