A few days ago, I woke up with abdominal pain. I thought, “Oh shit! I’m not going to be able to get up for work today.” But I did. And it was a good thing because I had a migraine that was a little scary.
This is a rare case of anaphylaxis, or an allergic reaction that causes the body to swell and move abnormally. In this case the swelling was pretty mild, but it could have developed into other more serious and life-threatening conditions.
Of course, I’ve never had an anaphylactic reaction, but it is worth mentioning that most anaphylactic reactions are mild at best, so I’m not sure what to expect. It is most likely going to be some mild pain and swelling, but this can be very serious in the long run.
In the meantime, I hope to see this case resolved soon. In the meantime, if you find that you’ve had a similar reaction it’s important to take care of yourself and see your healthcare provider right away.
Ive never had an anaphylactic reaction, but I do have a mild reaction to all sorts of things. Ive usually just gotten a little bit of a headache and had some feeling of dizziness. Ive had some stuff happen at work (which is why it took me 3 weeks to post my response to the original article) and it ended up being a lot of it was from my coworker.
So its not a good idea to have a small reaction to a lot of stimuli at the same time. Its important to take care of yourself and see your healthcare provider right away.

It is really scary because all it takes is a small dose of a substance like salicylates to trigger your body to react to it. You can be allergic or not to a drug, but if you have a reaction to an allergen such as peanut’s, you will probably have a reaction.
